Quilting will be the theme of this CARM retreat. This retreat draws on the experiences of biblical figures, such as Moses and Mary, and their lives. Often reluctant to answer the difficult call of God, they came to say their 'yes' with often dramatic effects. There is much that lends itself to bring explored in fabric, bead and button, wool and thread, texture and colour.  Your can bring your own planned project to work on, or use some aspect of the life of a figure from Scripture that inspires you as a focus. Come prepared to play with different techniques in patchwork and quilting that will help you deepen your engagement with our theme. Hand sewing and/or machine work'  You will be accompanied by expert tutor Annabel Barber and chaplain Revd Sheila Coughtry.
