"Man cannot live by bread alone.”
This week of meditation, practice and reflection is especially designed to feed our spiritual, material and emotional needs. It will draw on the practice of Centering Prayer, the Law of Three manifesting within and around us, and the principles of Alexander Technique.
The days will follow a rhythm consisting of extended periods of Centering Prayer, study sessions, experimentation with the embodying principles of the Alexander Technique and the practice of conscious work. There will also be opportunities for sharing, discussion and simple contemplative liturgy. Time outside of sessions will be mostly held in silence with ample time for private reflection.
This retreat is intended for those who have established a practice of Centering Prayer or meditation and are seeking to deepen their experience of Presence. Prior knowledge of Alexander Technique is not necessary.
Led by Jill Benet, Antonio Benet and Jacqueline Evans.
Jill is the London Coordinator of Contemplative Outreach and Co founder of ‘Silence in the City’. She has extensive experience of leading group retreats.
Antonio is a writer and a lay contemplative who leads study groups in Spain and the UK.
Jacqueline is an Alexander Technique teacher and a workshop leader.
Led by: Jill and Antonio Benet and Jacqueline Evans
