Finding Fulfilment

Centering Prayer, the Law of Three and Alexander Technique

This unique experience, described as “marvellous and inspiring” by a past participant, will offer an opportunity to see the complementary nature of the relationship between mind, body and spirit in the evolution of consciousness. It will also offer practices that will open us to finding fulfilment in our daily life. Centering Prayer, sometimes known as the prayer of consent, is a way of opening our hearts and minds to the divine action within. The Law of Three enables us to discern the true nature of reality. The Alexander Technique will offer an easy, gentle way of releasing physical tensions caused by our addiction to thought. The days will follow a rhythm consisting of extended periods of Centering Prayer, study

sessions, experimentation with the embodying principles of the Alexander Technique, and the practice of conscious work. There will be opportunities for sharing, discussion and simple contemplative liturgy. Time outside of sessions will be mostly held in silence with ample time for private reflection.

Led by Jill Benet, Antonio Benet and Jacqueline Evans. Jill is the London Co-ordinator of Contemplative Outreach (www.contemplativeoutreach.co.uk) and co-founder of ‘Silence in the City’. She has extensive experience in leading group retreats. Antonio is a writer and a lay contemplative who leads study groups in Spain and the UK. Jacqueline is an Alexander Technique teacher and a workshop leader.

Led by: Jacqueline Evans, JIll & Antonio Benet

Please arrive by 6pm on Sunday. Retreat ends with lunch on Friday.
