Learning from Buddhism

“Regardless of our beliefs, Buddhism has a great deal to teach us today as well as challenge how we see ourselves and the world around us”, says course leader Sue Glanville.

Buddhism is becoming increasingly well-known in the West. This introductory course covers the key Buddhist concepts and their relevance and application to everyday life. During the weekend we will explore the origins of Buddhism together with its ethical foundation and Enlightenment – the goal of the Buddhist Path. There will also be opportunities to practise a variety of meditative exercises (no special postures required).

Some of the time will be spent in silence and some in discussion.

Sue has extensive experience of teaching, leadership, coaching and spiritual direction. She has taught Buddhism and meditation for many years and led groups to India and Nepal to visit key Buddhist sites.

Led by: Sue Glanville

Please arrive 6pm on Friday. Course ends with lunch on Sunday.
