Meditation Mindfulness 2018

A perfect introduction to the formal practice of Mindfulness aimed at anyone dealing with difficulty, change, stress - or simply curious. We will have short periods of silent practice, with different meditation supports, starting with the breath.  We will learn to step back from pressures, allow the busy mind to settle, and become more fully present in the moment.  This means we will become feer and more fully alive! There is even evidence that regular practice slow the ageing process! "What a fantastic role model of kind attentivenness and compassion toward everyone". (Participant 2017)

Hilary Armstrong has stsudied with many distinguised meditation teachers, both in the UK and in India, since 1991. She has trained in MIndfulness-Based therapy with both Oxfrod University and Exter University Mindfulness Centres.  Since 2007, she has been running regular courses and retreat days in the West Country. Hilary is also invloved in community theatre as an actor and director.

N.B.There are two othe 'Day Workshops for Beginners' on 11 August and 17 November.  Hilary will also be leading a weekend retreat from 9-11 February.
