You are warmly invited by the local Bahá’is to celebrate the Divine Springtime at the Ridvan Festival
Sunday 28th April 2019, 2.30 – 5 pm
The Divine springtime is come … Bestir thyself, and magnify, before the entire creation, the name of God, and celebrate His praise, in such wise that all created things may be regenerated and made new
(Baha'u'llah, Gleanings from the Writings of Baha'u'llah, p. 27)
In the garden of thy heart plant naught but the rose of love, and from the nightingale of affection and desire loosen not thy hold.
(Baha'u'llah, The Persian Hidden Words)
Come and discover what Baha’is believe, and their vision of a world united in diversity:
The well-being of mankind, its peace and security, are unattainable unless and until its unity is firmly established.
(Baha'u'llah, The Proclamation of Baha'u'llah, p. x)
Our programme today covers important themes of ‘Unity and diversity’, and the role of youth as agents of change.
During the afternoon there will be times for participation and discussion, also time for reflection. We close with light refreshments and an opportunity to socialise.
All are welcome
