Soulful

“One of the most striking, original and fresh voices in contemporary Christian spirituality”

(a reviewer commenting on Gail and Ian Adams’s work)

Ian and Gail Adams co-founded and run the Beloved Life project which offers a mix of resources, practices, events and gatherings, re-imagining what it means to be truly human and to shape a better world. The project is rooted in the wisdom, practices and spirituality of the Jesus path, and draws particularly on stillness, the contemplative traditions and the arts .

Ian and Gail’s 2016 weekend retreat at Ammerdown is based on the premise that 'a turbulant world' needs more people living with authenticity, passion and compassion. More soulful people, as Gail and Ian describe it.

They write: “The Soulful retreat is an opportunity for you to shape a more soulful life for yourself – and for a better world. There will be a spacious mix of teaching, conversation, stillness and contemplative practice, drawing on insights around human becoming, on soul music and contemporary jazz, and on the Wisdom Teachings of Jesus."

Gail is a life-coach, mentor and retreat-leader working with insights and wisdom to connect you with your joyful potential in both good and tough times. She runs the see:change project.

Ian is a poet, photographer, artist and Anglican priest, creator of the daily Morning Bell on social media, director of StillPoint, author of ‘Cave Refectory Road: monastic rhythms for contemporary living’, ‘Running Over rocks: spiritual practices to transform tough times’ and ‘Unfurling’.

Led by: Ian and Gail Adams
