Course Information:

This course is suitable for all who are happy working on evenweave fabric (counting)

This technique is called Chicken Scratch, Lace Stitch or Snowflake embroidery and is worked on Gingham fabric, to give an attractive lacy-like appearance, and

sometimes includes Tenerife embroidery. This is an easy technique, with many variations and possibilities. Even just working on one piece of fabric, a variety of designs can be achieved by the colour of the thread and the positioning of the stitches. 

This course is suitable for all.

Course Leader:

Annette Bolton has been teaching for the past 30 years, including City and Guilds in Hand Embroidery, Design and Stumpwork Embroidery. Constantly updating her knowledge of all hand embroidery techniques, in order to keep up with current trends together with new and fresh designs.
