Join us for a day of drumming, sound and musical creativity to support your wellbeing.
Enjoy the opportunity to play drums & sound healing instruments, and let your cares float away during a deeply restful sound bath. Expect to feel uplifted, connected and profoundly relaxed.
No previous experience is necessary and you don’t have to be “musical” to participate. Just come, be curious and be ready for all the joy that is coming your way through Drumming for Wellness.
This wellness day includes a Sound Bath .
Please consult your doctor if you are in the first trimester of pregnancy. Not suitable for those with tinnitus or severe mental health issues.
Course Leader:
Jo Coomber is a talented and dedicated music practitioner who use utilises her wealth of knowledge and skills to improve the health and wellbeing of others within her community.
Alongside running “Beat Surfing“ drum sessions and deeply relaxing and rejuvenating Sound Bath sessions in Wells, Somerset, Jo also co-directs Sounds Joyful CIC which offers community music sessions for people living with long term health issues.
Know locally as ‘Jo Bowen,’ she has her own Bowen Practice and has successfully helped the community with bad backs and frozen shoulders for over a decade.
Jo has always had an interest in wellbeing and has organised and facilitated silent residential retreats at Ammerdown since 2015.
Jo lives with her husband Andrew and two dogs Jeff and Binka in Norton Radstock.
