Course Information:

Our glass workshop is set at a pace that is comfortable to follow – there is no pressure to design your piece and a easy to follow pattern will be available for you to follow if you wish.  Each person will be encouraged to choose the glass/colours for their project and will be shown clearly how to complete this project.  Cutting glass will be part of the workshop but, if you are uncomfortable doing this then I will fully support you in creating your finished piece.

You will learn or improve your skills in glass craft and share the day with other “crafters” who love creating.  This course includes all materials

The aim is to have an enjoyable day with plenty of refreshment breaks & lunch throughout the day.

I am passionate about being creative and teaching glass work (fused, traditional stained glass and copper foiling) which I truly believe can create a positive energy.  All types of crafts are therapeutic and can bring a sense of achievement as well as a calming and connecting influence in our daily lives.  Our busy demanding world, at some point, needs to refocus and reflect, giving ourselves time to embrace our own needs.  Crafts, no matter what form they take, allows us the time to do just that; work with our hands, take time to think at a slower pace & make peace with the world around us.
