Course Information:

Clara Atkins returns to Ammerdown for a singing weekend on themes of nature, peace and beauty. There will be songs from around the world, to calm the mind, open the heart and lift the spirit. Clara is an experienced choir leader and will teach the songs by ear. She is able to make everyone feel at ease no matter their singing experience and there’s no need to read music. Over the course of the weekend you will learn a range of songs in different styles, some to soothe you, others to wake you up! Collectively you will be creating harmony and a feeling of joy and peace. Over the weekend there will be opportunities to sing in the chapel and the peace garden.  

Course Leader:

Clara Atkins is an experienced singer, community choir leader, workshop facilitator and arts manager. Clara leads two community choirs called Clarity, in Bath and Trowbridge, and a smaller group called Doves Peace Choir who have performed at Ammerdown a number of times.
